The average peak area ratio is calculated from all experimental data points at equilibrium (Fig. 5). The calibration curve is fitted from all experimental data points, linking the variation of the PAR to the concentration of the dissolved CO₂ (Fig. 6a) or the partial pressure of the CO₂ (Fig. 6b). The uncertainty (1σ) of the predicted CO₂ dissolved concentration and the partial pressure are ±0.003 mol·kg⁻¹ and ±0.05 bar, respectively.
